Gyrus Capital adds to team with hire of Hannah Tobin, ahead of imminent fund raise
Gyrus Capital adds to its Geneva based team with the appointment of Hannah Tobin as Partner and head of investor relations. Hannah was previously at HarbourVest Partners for 19 years where she focussed on IR and primary fund investments. She brings a wealth of experience to Gyrus ahead of the firm’s imminent launch of its Principal and Cortex fund raises.
In 2019, its first full year of operations, Gyrus raised €240 million for its Cortex fund structures, most of which has been deployed into the carve out of DuPont Sustainable Solutions and the buy-out of Essential Pharma. The firm intends to add to its Cortex fund and hold a first close for the Principal fund.
Gyrus Capital is an investment firm based in Geneva, Switzerland. The firm makes investments in long term sustainable growth sectors, specifically healthcare and sustainability. In 2019 Gyrus acquired DuPont Sustainable Solutions and Essential Pharma, representing a combined enterprise value of around €400 million.
