Our investment story
- Gyrus accessed the opportunity to carve-out PwC’s consulting division to create Intellera in 2021 by leveraging on its track record of owning consulting companies (Bip and dss+)
- Successfully executed the carve-out, establishing standalone functions, governance, and IT systems to ensure a smooth transition to independence
- Created a new and rewarding career structure for employees (incl. participation in company equity scheme), which enabled high quality hiring and retention
- Appointed a new CEO (Andrea Gabardo – from Accenture) and strengthened the leadership team to accelerate growth and define a clear strategic identity – full alignment with the management team from day zero
- Strong investment in operations, talent and culture, growing the team by ~900 professionals and building a purpose-driven organisation
- Launched new specialist practices in AI & Data Analytics, Cybersecurity, ESG, and Design to capture emerging demand and deliver above expectations
- Achieved transformational performance and solid market positioning, culminating in a strategic sale to Accenture to continue digital development in Italy
